AAA estimates more Americans will be driving this Memorial Day holiday weekend than have done so in years.

All that driving will be easier on your wallet than it has been in about a decade thanks to lower gas prices.  The cheapest gas I found early Friday was in east Tulsa at the Flying J truck stop at Admiral and 129th East Avenue and several nearby QuikTrips at $2.05 per gallon.

AAA says there are more people traveling this Memorial Day weekend than since 2005 and about ninety percent of them will be driving.

Nationally, these are the lowest Memorial Day weekend average gas prices in ten years.  According to Gas Buddy, prices haven't been this low in Tulsa for this holiday since 2009.

The website shows the average price per gallon around Tulsa has been rising in recent weeks, but it is still at $2.13 per gallon.
