Flood Warning Issued For Caney River In Tulsa, Rogers Counties

The National Weather Service issued a Flood Warning for part of Tulsa County and part of Rogers County for the Caney River.

As of 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016, the NWS said the river was at 26.11 feet. Flood stage is 26 feet.

The warning covers far northern Tulsa County and southwestern Rogers County.

The NWS expects the river to rise to 27.3 feet late Thursday night. It says minor agricultural flooding is occurring and warns that county roads north and east of Collinsville may be covered by water.

The Flood Warning is in effect until Friday afternoon, as long as no more rain falls in the area.
