A teacher at Pauls Valley Junior High School was arrested after being accused of abusing two students.
According to police, Rocky Walker, 57, was arrested on Friday, May 20 on child abuse complaints. He was arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Garvin County Courthouse. He pleaded not guilty. His preliminary hearing is set to take place on June 10.
In two separate incidents, two students, ages 15 and 16, said Walker hit them, leaving welts and bruises on their backs.
News 9 learned that Walker was also a pastor in town. He had been arrested in Branson, Missouri, for assault not too long ago.
