After an extended stretch of unseasonably cool May weather, we look to have some terrific weather on the way for a very busy weekend of events across Green Country!

Periods of clouds will mix with periods of sunshine for our Saturday afternoon, with the warmest day we've had in over a week on the way! Even with clouds at times, expect mid to late afternoon temperatures to reach the upper 70s with a few of the sunnier spots near 80 degrees!

The large majority of us will also stay dry, but there is a very slim chance of a few isolated showers trying to develop, mainly north of Tulsa. Just be aware of that outside chance of a stray shower if you're out and about at any of the numerous outdoor events we have going on like Mayfest, the Blue Dome Festival, the Rose Festival in Broken Arrow, and Camp Bandage among many others.

The warmer trend looks to continue into Sunday as breezier south winds return, pushing our afternoon temperatures back into the lower 80s along with another very slim chance of a storm, primarily late in the day. As warm and humid air steadily returns by the upcoming work week, our storm chances will also increase along with the threat of severe weather.

Storms will be possible pretty much each day of the work week, and with that warm, humid air in place that means severe weather will be possible each day as well. That doesn’t necessarily mean it will rain all across Green Country every day this upcoming week, but the chances will be there almost every day, so stay weather aware and we’ll keep you advised!
