Jenks Public Schools says they'll be joining several public safety agencies today for a rehearsal of what to do in a flood emergency.
Students and staff are participating. A spokesperson for the school said they will be moved from the first floor to the second as part of the flood drill.
That exercise goes from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the district's central campus.
Local police and fire will also be a part of the exercise, so if you see those vehicles at the schools - don't be alarmed. The district says this is an exercise to make sure everyone is prepared for a real emergency so they know how to keep students and staff members safe.
