6A State Tournament: Jenks Beats Norman North, Advances

Jenks will advance in the 6A state tournament after beating Norman North, 1-0.

Scoring Synopsis

The Trojans got on the board first, in the top of the third inning, after Hayden Johnson singled to shallow left field, scoring Brett Standlee.

The inning wrapped when Matt Gaskins got Dom Hughes, son of OU head coach Pete Hughes, to ground out.

Jenks held its lead throughout the game to win, 1-0.

The Trojans will now face Edmond Memorial on Friday in Choctaw at 1:30 p.m.
