Storm damage is being reported in Latimer and Cherokee counties after overnight storms. Pam Hirrill, emergency management director in Latimer County, said they had strong winds, heavy rain and some hail.

The damage was concentrated in the Buffalo Valley area in a rural part of Latimer County.

The county's emergency management office told us one home, three barns and a travel trailer were damaged in what they believe was a tornado around 3:30 a.m. At this point, the National Weather Service has not confirmed it was a tornado.

County and state officials are using a drone to track the storm's path.

At  least one person was hurt at the Snake Creek Marina at Cookson. The Cherokee County marina on Lake Tenkiller was badly damaged. We're told the person had minor injuries.

We also have reports of wind damage and a flipped recreational vehicle.

Alan Crone says southern Cherokee County including Cookson had about 8 inches of rain. Northern Adair County also saw the heavy rainfall - between 7 and 8 inches.

If you have damage to your property, you're asked to call your local emergency management.
