First Look At Apartments Inside Tulsa's Renovated YMCA Building

News On 6 has gotten a look inside the former YMCA building on Denver in Tulsa which is being turned into some more downtown apartments.

There will be almost 100 new apartments in the building and developers tell me they will start pre-leasing later this month and the price is affordable compared to other downtown apartments.

Each unit costs about a $1 per square foot, so a 500-square-foot apartment would be $500 a month.

The former YMCA building is in the last stretch of its renovation and one of a number of renovations currently underway in the downtown area.

"We really need the help of the other developers to help downtown in general so everything everyone is doing will help with success of downtown," said Shelby Snyder.
