The Port of Catoosa is holding a grand opening for an $12 million investment. A new 720-foot dock has plenty of room for unloading - and a crane that can move more than 223 tons of cargo, Port officials say.
The grand opening is Tuesday, but News On 6 reporter Tony Russell got a sneak peak of the infrastructure improvement that should increase the amount of container shipping to Oklahoma.

It's a big day in the history of the Port, according to David Yarbrough.
"It modernizes us and sets us up for the next several decades worth of growth," he said.
Everyone's encouraged to come out and attend the ceremonies at the Port of Catoosa at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The dock grand opening ceremony will be held at 5400 West Channel Road.
