A worker at Tulsa International Airport retired today, but it was no ordinary retirement celebration.

That's because the "worker" is Don - the airport's explosives detection dog.

Don's been at TIA since August 2008, with his handler, Tulsa Police Officer BD Stinnett.

Don's duties included checking unattended luggage along with routine patrols.

Throughout his career, Don provided bomb sweeps for several politicians, musicians and dignitaries.

Today's send off included a cake, dog treats and a big rawhide bone.
