Freshman Majed Kilani earned American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors while junior Or Ram-Harel was named to the All-Conference Singles Team, as announced Thursday by the league office.
Since arriving at Tulsa, Kilani has compiled a 13-6 singes record and a 7-3 doubles record. He helped lead the 23rd-ranked Golden Hurricane to an overall 17-13 record this year, and a 10-10 record against nationally ranked opponents. Kilani's longest winning streak in singles play is five-matches, and his longest winning-streak in doubles play in seven-matches. He was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week of April 5.
Ram-Harel posted a 9-12 singles record and a 3-5 doubles mark this year. Currently, he is nationally ranked 46th in singles play. Ram-Harel has been nationally ranked in singles play throughout the season, including a team-best 21st ranking on September 21. Ram-Harel earned one of the 50 at-large bids to enter the men's NCAA Singles Championships bracket.
