Layoffs Confirmed At Tulsa's Cancer Treatment Center Of America

Cancer Treatment Centers of America says it has laid off workers at its facility in Tulsa.

The center says less than 100 positions were eliminated.

The company issued a statement to News On 6:  

"Like the vast majority of U.S. healthcare providers, Cancer Treatment Centers of America has found it necessary to make certain organizational and staffing changes to align with the reality of the emerging healthcare economy. Our commitment to the delivery of exceptional patient-centered cancer care remains resolute, as does our plan to reach and serve more patients who are seeking our care in the years ahead."

The Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa is located at 10109 East 79th Street.
