Tulsa Campus Police Make Arrest At East Central

East Central High School campus police made an arrest Wednesday morning and sent out an "intruder on campus" alert. 

The alert stated:

Parents: We want to inform you that at 10:08 am, we were alerted to an intruder on campus and we immediately followed IOC procedures for students' safety. Then at 10:11 am, the intruder was apprehended by campus police, and the IOC was cancelled.

East Central is located at 12150 E 11th Street. The school was not on lockdown because the arrest was made so quickly, according to TPS.

Tulsa Police requested a modified lockdown earlier in the morning at Will Rogers, a TPS spokesperson said. Police were looking for someone in the neighborhood nearby, the spokesperson said.

That school was instructed to lock the doors until the all clear was given.
