Fire Forces Owasso Family Out Of Their Home

An Owasso family of five was displaced from their home after a garage fire Wednesday morning.

The Owasso Fire Department responded to the 10600 block of East 112th Street North just before 8 a.m. after the mom noticed an outside wall of the garage on fire.

She got the three kids and the car out safely, but the kitchen area and roof of the garage sustained damage from the blaze. No one was injured.

Fire officials say the family does not have fire insurance and the Red Cross has been called to help the family.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
