Two University of Tulsa students escaped serious injury after their minivan vaulted over a cable barrier, went airborne and rolled.  The wreck took place overnight Wednesday on the Sand Springs Expressway.

Police tell News On 6 the van was eastbound on Highway 412 when it left the roadway onto the center median. It then sailed over the carrier barrier and 91 feet in the air before coming down on the opposite lanes.

After rolling, the van ended up on its wheels. Police say the 19-year-old driver fell asleep at the wheel.
