Bodycam Footage Shows Owasso Officer Being Hit By Pickup

Bodycam footage has been released showing what Owasso Police say is one of their officers being hit by a pickup.

The officer had just pulled over the driver when, in the video, you see an officer approach Lloyd Clemons' pickup.

Clemons' truck then accelerates, hitting the officer.

After a short chase, a passerby blocked Clemons pickup.

Officers surrounded it, and when Clemons didn’t get out, police broke the window and pulled him out.

Police said Clemons had two passengers with him, including one juvenile who was not wearing a seatbelt.

Clemons has been booked for a number of crimes including eluding arrest and assault with a deadly weapon.
