Tulsa's Rowing Team competed in a regatta Saturday on the Verdigris River near Catoosa.

This regatta is particularly special because it's the first race the team has competed in since their Tulsa Rowing Club building at Riverwest Festival Park was destroyed by vandals in a fire on January 24.

The vandalism caused about a half a million dollars in damage to the building. The team lost everything from rowing to workout equipment.

Saturday's Tulsa Youth Rowing Route 66 Regatta at Rogers Point Park in Catoosa included teams from Arkansas, Kansas and Texas.

Authorities are still investigating the fire and anyone with information is asked to call the Tulsa Fire Department at 918-596-ARSN (2776)
