Trailer Thief Leads Sand Springs, Tulsa Police On Pursuit

Police are looking for a man who led them on a high speed chase after an overnight trailer theft. 

News On 6 cameras caught the pursuit as police from Sand Springs and Tulsa followed the thief. Sand Springs Authorities said the whole thing ended in a field north of Tulsa near 63rd Street North and Osage Drive.

Police say they originally got a call about a stolen trailer within Sand Springs city limits.  They tell us they spotted the thief with the trailer and that's when the chase started.

The man headed north and then west toward Pogue airport, then back south and then onto Highway 412 towards Tulsa, according to police. The chase hit some high speeds at times.

No one was hurt in the chase. Police were unable to find the suspect after he bailed from the vehicle.
