Both eastbound lanes of Pine are blocked at Harvard Tuesday morning after a car crashed into a utility pole. Traffic is getting through, but drivers should avoid the area if possible.
Police say the driver had just purchased the Lincoln Continental, and its tires were bad. He told officers he lost control of the car after hydroplaning on Pine.
The driver wasn't hurt.
The pole is sheared off at the base and standing upright. Police are waiting for Public Service of Oklahoma crews to check out the pole before they tow the car.
No lines are down, and service is not affected - but it's expected to take several hours to replace the pole.
