Drivers Blame Hydroplaning For Tulsa-Area Wrecks

Two vehicles hydroplaned and flipped on Highway 75 overnight, according to Tulsa Police. Heavy rainfall Sunday and overnight left wet conditions and some ponding.

One vehicle taking a curve on southbound Highway 75 at the Interstate 244 exit hydroplaned and flipped one time, landing on its wheels, police say.

A pickup hydroplaned around 3:40 a.m. on northbound Highway 75 north of Interstate 44.  The truck flipped on its top while pulling a trailer. Police were able to rapidly clear the scene before rush hour.
