Tulsa Police Identify Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver

Tulsa Police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a man on Highway 11 Monday morning.

Officers said the pedestrian, 23-year-old Dylan Nicholson, was hit by a vehicle at about 4 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 11 between Memorial and Pine.

None of the street lights are working on that stretch of highway so it was very dark. Police said Nicholson was trying to cross the highway when he was hit. They said the vehicle may have initially stopped then left the scene.

Police closed the highway as they investigated, re-opening it at about 8 a.m. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers said they do not have a description of the vehicle that hit the man.
