City of Tulsa crews are working to repair water lines that broke yesterday after a big mistake at a construction site.
The city's water distribution manager says city workers accidentally turned off some valves on Friday at a job site near 61st and Memorial. Water pressure built up over the weekend and yesterday morning 19 water lines broke across the city.
That left about 200 people and 34 businesses without water.
The city says all but seven lines have been fixed.
Some traffic lanes are closed around the city where the repairs were made.
