Tulsa Couple Charged With Child Sexual Abuse

A Tulsa couple are in jail charged in connection with the sexual abuse of a young girl.

John Jennings, 60, was arrested April 9.  He is charged with three counts of child sexual abuse.  His wife, Elizabeth Jennings, 51, was arrested March 31 and is charged with one count permitting child sexual abuse. 

Police said the victim reported the abuse to Elizabeth Jennings, who they said waited a week to make a report.

Authorities say the victim told them John Jennings had sexually abused her several times, including taking nude photos of her. They say Elizabeth Jennings reported only the one incident.
