Firefighters are on the scene of a large house fire in Jenks on the 800 block of North Forest Place.
Police say the fire was caused by a chimenea that torched the front porch after the wind blew it out of control. The fire then spread to the home's roof and attic.
News On 6 reporter Annie Chang is on the scene of the fire and says upon arrival it was dying down but reignited in the attic area causing firefighters to try and remove sections of the roof in attempts to defuse it.
Police say the homeowner was inside the house at the time of the fire. Police also stated there was a dog in the home that was rescued and sent to an emergency veterinarian.
