Oklahoma Authorities Search For Man Wanted For Several Violent Crimes

Authorities in Canadian County are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted for several crimes, including manslaughter in Tulsa County.

Canadian County deputies say Damon Caldwell most recently chased a man around a neighborhood in Yukon shooting at him with a gun.

They say Caldwell broke into the man's house and stole his truck last week.

Deputies arrived, and a pursuit began.

"The El Reno Police Department and the Sheriff's Office got into pursuit,” Canadian County Undersheriff Chris West said. “We chased him out northwest of El Reno. He crashed out. We had a manhunt that lasted until about 9:30 or 10 at night."

Caldwell has several active arrest warrants, including shooting with intent to kill and the manslaughter in Tulsa County.

Deputies say he has been on the run for several months and has several previous assault convictions.

They also believe he is a member of the Irish Mob and is very dangerous.
