Radar Data Shows How Long Tulsa Tornado Was On The Ground

Radar data from the News On 6 WARN team indicates Wednesday's tornado was on the ground for a long time.

The graphic in this story shows the radar-estimated path of the storm.

"Our storm trackers first reported a wall cloud near Mannford with this storm. This storm quickly became tornadic between Mannford and Turley as it moved east-northeast," said News On 6 meteorologist Stacia Knight. 

The National Weather Service will assess the tornado track and damage and then release a rating. That could happen as soon as Thursday afternoon.
