Four Tulsa Public Schools Closed Thursday

Four Tulsa Public Schools are closed Thursday because of weather and tornado damage in nearby neighborhoods. Tulsa Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist said the schools are without power.

Classes at McLain High School, McLain 7th Grade Academy, Monroe Demonstration Middle and Penn Elementary are canceled Thursday.  

Electricity is not expected to be restored until sometime on Thursday. Dr. Gist said the district will be assessing damage and accessibility at the buildings.
