Crews responded to a house fire in west Tulsa Monday afternoon.
The fire broke out near 41st and I-244. Firefighters said the nearest hydrant was several blocks away, which made it difficult to get water to fight the fire.
Firefighters also said batteries being stored in the garage prompted fears that chemicals could get onto their gear.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
EMSA did treat two people at the scene for smoke inhalation.
