Police say they made a traffic stop Saturday, March 20. They say the driver, Joshua Leathers, admitted right away that he didn't have a driver's license or insurance. They looked in the car and asked why the steering column was popped on the car.
He told officers it was like that when he purchased the car, but they found out it was stolen out of Tulsa. There was a license plate in the passenger seat, and it was also stolen.
Broken Arrow officers arrest Leathers, 33, for possession of a stolen vehicle, knowingly concealing stolen property, improper left turn, no insurance, expired tag and driving under suspension.
