A 98-year-old Bartlesville native got to fulfill one of her dreams Friday night.

Former English teacher, Della Craighead, moved to Philadelphia to be close to family but remains a huge Oklahoma City Thunder fan.

Friday night, in Philadelphia, the Thunder faced the 76ers and Craighead’s nephews made her dream of seeing the Thunder play come true.

“They’re my favorite team, so I have even the nail polish that matches the blue of the color tonight. I’m so excited and thrilled to be here,” she said.

To make it even better, the Thunder beat the 76ers, 111-97.

Craighead was in the first group to be inducted into the Bartlesville Educators Hall of Fame, and she left such an impression, several former students created a Facebook page to keep up with her.
