Oklahoma Man Wanted On Child Rape Charges Arrested In Texas

A Pushmataha County man wanted two counts of rape has been arrested at a renaissance festival east of Austin, Texas.

KEYE-TV, the CBS affiliate in Austin, Texas reports federal marshals along with Bastrop County Sheriff's deputies arrested Clifton Eubanks, 30, of Soper, Oklahoma at the Sherwood Forest Faire in McDade.

Eubanks is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at her home in southeast Oklahoma in 2014.  Court records say the victim came forward in 2015 and Eubanks was charged in early February.

Authorities tracked Eubanks to Bastrop County where he had reportedly been working since January. 

Bastrop County Jail records show he remains behind bars awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma.
