Turner Turnpike Reopened After Grass Fires Near Stroud, Bristow

Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed the Turner Turnpike as a grass fire limited visibility for drivers.

Traffic was diverted for a little over an hour.

Interstate 44 eastbound was closed at Stroud, and westbound traffic at Bristow due to the fires. OHP urged extreme caution, saying there was zero visibility for drivers.
