The Department of Corrections says it has arrested an inmate who walked away from a Tulsa halfway house earlier this month.

Samuel Garell, 31, was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon at his parents' home in Tulsa and booked into the Tulsa County jail.

Garell walked away on February 3.

Prison records show Garell was convicted in Creek County on false impersonation and drug possession charges in 2014 and sentenced to prison.

The department says Garell was on its 15 Most Wanted Fugitive list for his history of violence and previously had been arrested for charges ranging from carrying a firearm, assault and battery with a deadly weapon and domestic assault and battery.
