Tulsa Teen Arrested In Armed Robbery At Apartment Complex

Tulsa Police have a man in custody they say held a gun to a his victims' heads in an armed robbery earlier this month. Jajuan Dennis was booked into jail Tuesday night.

Police say Dennis and another man robbed two people at the Cobblestone Apartments February 17, 2016.  One of the victims told officers Dennis had a semi-automatic handgun and threatened to shoot them in the head.

He and an accomplice stole cash, electronics and other items, according to an arrest report.

"This suspect also forced the male victim from his home with a towel wrapped around the victim's head, in a choke hold," the arresting officer said in the report.

The victims were able to identify Dennis to police, records show.

Dennis, 18, was booked on complaints of attempted kidnapping, robbery with a firearm and some outstanding traffic warrants. Police are still looking for the second suspect.
