Woman Injured In Crash Near RiverSpirit Casino In Tulsa

Crews rescued a driver who ran off the road near the RiverSpirit Casino in Tulsa. Her Chevrolet SUV jammed between two trees and hit a pillar just east of Riverside Drive.

Tulsa Police, fire and EMSA personnel worked to get the driver stable and free her from the vehicle. EMSA took her to the hospital with multiple injures.

Police tell News On 6 the woman was northbound on Riverside Drive when they believe the woman fell asleep at the wheel. There was no sign of braking, accident investigators said. 

She had injuries to the trunk of her body, legs and feet, police said.

The northbound lanes were shut down as crews responded to the single-vehicle wreck.
