A Westville Police officer struck by a chase suspect at a roadblock in Adair County in December 2015 is back home from the hospital.
KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith says Joshua Sidebottom was released from a Fayetteville, Arkansas hospital on Friday.
Authorities said Sidebottom was injured as was laying down spike strips in the road to try to stop a chase when he was struck by the suspect's Dodge Durango on December 14, 2015.
The suspect, 35-year-old Brandon Rowan was arrested after he crashed his SUV on Highway 59 just north of Westville.

According to court records, Rowan is charged with eluding, assault and battery on a police officer, running a roadblock and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
A preliminary hearing on the charges is scheduled for March. He remains in the Adair County jail.
