Time to catch up with one of our own in Super Bowl 50; Bixby's Chris Harris Jr. will be in the Broncos’ secondary, trying to stop the Panthers.

We caught up with him on Skype earlier and asked him about getting to play in Super Bowl 50 after being out with an injury when the Broncos lost Super Bowl 48.

"Yeah definitely, man, not playing in that last Super Bowl, it was definitely hard and it hurt not being able to make an impact on that game; and now I'm playing in it and it's like a dream come true. A lot of players don't get to play in it in two years, and in their careers, so to be able to go twice, it's huge," he said.

Harold: “Chris, you came into the league undrafted but became one of the best cornerbacks in the league, talk about how you went undrafted to becoming one of the best cornerbacks in the league.”

Harris: "I've always had to have that chip on my shoulder, people are always waiting for me to fall off, waiting for a reason to see why I went undrafted, and that just drives to play at a high elite level."

Harold: “Chris, your defense has a very tough matchup and trying to stop Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, what's the game plan to try and stop them?”

Harris: "He's been making plays with his feet and his arm so we just have to try and stop him and don't let him get out of the pocket. And on the back end we have to continue to shut people down like we've been doing, contest every run, contest every pass he makes."

Harold: “You're one of three guys with Oklahoma ties on the Broncos, for you, being from Bixby, you've got Chris Harris Road in Bixby, will there be another one if you bring back the ring?”

Harris: "Oh yeah, definitely. They might as well start preparing for it, you know if they win the Super Bowl. I'll be back, and I definitely keep up with them. I see they've won two titles back to back, so that's good, I'm definitely proud of them. I just want to say shout out to everyone in Oklahoma, in Tulsa, in Bixby. I love ya'll. That's my home and I look forward to doing big games in the Super Bowl, I hope everyone tunes in to watch."
