Tulsa Homeowner Wakes Up To Burglar Inside His Home

Police say a Tulsa homeowner awaken by the noises coming from an adjoining bedroom surprised a burglar early Friday. 

Officers said just before 4 a.m. they were called to the home in the 2600 block of North Madison.  The homeowner said someone crawling through a window woke him up.

Police said as victim went to investigate, he encountered and struggled with the suspect.   The homeowner sustained several scrapes but was not seriously enough to go to the hospital, according to officers.  

The suspect ran away before police arrived.
