Firefighters Battle Grass Fire North Of Tulsa Near Highway 75

Firefighters battled a grass fire just west of Highway 75 at 76th Street North Wednesday morning.

The fire stretched between 76th Street north and 86th Street North.  

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol shut down the southbound lanes at 76th Street North briefly because of the fire and smoke.

The fire is now out.  

Several fire departments were called to fight the fire including Tulsa, Turley and Owasso.
