Tulsa Police say an argument over a dog led to a shooting and stabbing near Delaware and Pine. Officers say when they arrived Saturday evening the suspected shooter - Robert Hefner - surrendered.

He is now in jail.

Police say they found a woman with a gunshot wound in the back of her neck and leg and a stab wound in her side.

She's expected to survive.

Police say Hefner and victim are roommates. Investigators believe the fight began yesterday afternoon when the two were traveling in a car together.

The victim says Hefner threw the her dog out of the car and the dog was run over.

Police say the two continued to argue until they got back to the 1500 block of North Delaware. Police say that's when Hefner produced a gun and a knife to attack the woman.
