Police say a man who could be responsible for several area burglaries is behind bars.
Broken Arrow Police arrested Michael Moore and Aaron Stone at an RCB bank - they said the men tried to cash a stolen check.
Now, police say they are connecting one of them to crimes in multiple cities.
Detectives have been looking for Moore for quite some time and are happy to get him off the streets.
They are still digging through evidence, but right now can link him to crimes in Broken Arrow, Tulsa and Claremore.
Friday afternoon, police handcuffed Moore at RCB Bank in Broken Arrow. Police said a teller was suspicious when Moore and Stone tried to cash a stolen check. The teller called the account owner who said his checkbook had been stolen that morning.
A Broken Arrow officer was inside the bank at the time and was able to hold the two before they could take off.
Corporal Leon Calhoun with BAPD said, "Our suspects didn't take the time to drive through the parking lot and see a police car was in the area. So it worked out really great for us and hopefully prevented more victims from these two guys."
Claremore police gave us surveillance video from inside a QuikTrip a few weeks ago. Detectives believe Moore used stolen credit cards they believe he took from a number of unlocked vehicles.
Officers said they found a stolen ring, tools, social security cards and much more inside the vehicle.
Moore was arrested on six counts of possessing stolen property, and it is likely that more charges are on the way.
