Broken Arrow Road Re-Opened After Wreck Damage

Broken Arrow Police say a roadway closed to through traffic for several hours has been reopened.

Aspen Avenue (145th East Avenue) from Tucson to Jasper (121st to 131st) was closed as Public Service of Oklahoma fixed a utility pole.

The road was closed around 9 a.m. and reopened just after 2 p.m.

BAPD said the pole was damaged in a traffic collision. A 17-year-old driver went off the road and hit the pole, police say.

She had minor injuries.
