Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a rural Glenpool home early Thursday.

The Glenpool Fire Department got the call just after 12:30 a.m. to a vacant home in the 14400 block of South 26th West Avenue.

By the time they arrived, firefighters along with the Kiefer Fire Department said flames had spread through the roof causing extensive damage.
