The annual Claremore baseball banquet drew another large crowd this year. In attendance was former Owasso star Pete Kozma who now plays for the Yankees.
Also, on hand as a keynote speaker was St. Louis broadcaster and former Cardinal reliever Al "The Mad Hungarian" Hrabosky. In his speech, he shared his outlook for the upcoming season.
"The Cards went into the offseason expecting to sign David Price and also resign Hayward, didn't happen,” said Hrabosky. “They also are excited to see their young talent, seeing what Piscotti, seeing what Pham, seeing what these guys can do on a consistent basis. It's one of those situations where the Cardinals will find a way to win."
