Lighthorse Police Arrest Man After Pursuit

Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Police trying to stop a truck at the River Spirit Casino ended up in a chase.

Police say the driver of a pickup failed to stop when officers tried to pull him over. The chase went through several neighborhoods in the 81st and Memorial area before it ended.

The driver was taken into custody, and police say he will be booked on multiple charges including eluding and driving under the influence.

Authorities say a passenger in the Explorer pickup was released.
