The City of Tulsa is prepared for any winter weather that may come our way.
The City's street maintenance workers are making sure all of their plows are in top shape for this weekend.
The department said it has more than 60 trucks with salt spreaders and about 50 with snow plows.

Crews are planning to start treating roads at 2:00 in the morning, if it’s not needed any earlier.
They said they’re always preparing for winter weather.
"It's an ongoing process through the year, normally, because, on and off, we have issues. So, constantly during the week we start trucks just to check to make sure we don't have problems," said Tulsa Street Maintenance Manager, Tim McCorkell.

EMSA is also preparing for winter weather. They have winter uniforms and their vehicles are equipped with snow chains.
