A Muskogee man has pleaded guilty to falsely reporting that a bomb was planted in Rogers, Arkansas church in 2012.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Fayetteville, Allen Ward, 51, pleaded guilty to one count of maliciously conveying false information.

In a release, Kenneth Elser, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas said Ward called police in 2012, reporting that a bomb might be in the Fellowship Bible Church where his ex-wife attended.

Elser says Ward faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison.
