Extensive storm damage at Muskogee's Bacone College oldest building has forced the school to relocate classes.
The school says Samuel Richard Memorial Hall sustained major damage from last week's rains. They said the storm ripped a door off the roof which let rainwater run down the stairs and seep into every wall in the 95-year-old building.
Bacone officials say the six classrooms in the building are now unusable and they have relocated the classes to other buildings on campus. School resumes next week.
Officials say because Memorial Hall is a historic building, it will take three to six months to make the needed repairs.
