A judge dismissed a murder charge against a second suspect in a killing at an Owasso convenience store last summer.

On Monday, December 28, 2015, Judge Martha Rupp Carter dismissed the 1st-degree murder charge against Michael "A.J." Hatcher.

Emmett Tyler Wood, 26, of Sperry, died after being shot on July 24, 2015 at the Kum N Go on 86th Street North.

Prosecutors charged Hatcher and two other people with 1st-degree murder in the case. Earlier this month, the state dropped the charge against Antonio Pruitt, saying they still believed Pruitt was there when the crime was committed but that they didn't have enough evidence to convict him.

Jacob "Jake" Pepper is the last of three suspects still charged with murder. He's due to be arraigned on the charge on January 4, 2015.
