Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers recovered a woman's body from an SUV in high water in south Tulsa County Monday afternoon.

Troopers found the SUV near 201st and Mingo.

They recovered the body of 54-year-old Melissa Phillips at about 4:30 p.m. using a tractor and a large military-style truck called a deuce-and-a-half. They were working to remove the SUV from the water as of late Monday afternoon.

Troopers said Phillips was reported missing on Sunday after leaving a home near Mingo and 201st Street South.

They believe Phillips was traveling northbound on Mingo when, for an unknown reason, she ran off the road and her SUV became submerged.
